Effective industry and financial analysts are judged in part by the quality and frequency of their interaction with the media. For each analyst to have the skills needed to build and sustain media relations and to perform well in each media opportunity is essential for the analyst and for the firm.

WGA has developed a unique program designed to help turn analysts into outstanding resources for print, television, radio, and online journalists. Each program is carefully customized to the specific needs of the firm and of the trainees.

AC-108  Industry and Financial Analyst Media Workshop – A program designed especially to help industry and financial analysts work more effectively with the media. The workshop includes interview skills for the analyst, disclosure policies, media relations and media relationship development, and on-camera, phone, and face-to-face interview skills. (7  hours)

AC-118  Industry and Financial Analyst Advanced Interview Workshop – For analyst requiring extra coaching and practice in applying core media interaction techniques, this workshop consists of a full-day or a half-day of scenarios and role plays designed to hone the skills in a supportive yet realistic setting. (4 hours or 7 hours)
